This petticoat is especially suited for eyelet, but can easily be made of any fabric. It is very easy to put together, yet looks absolutely fabulous. It has a double layer hem, with the outer layer being an eyelet ruffle. Closure in the center back. And best of all, no hemming needed!

This pattern was wonderful. It was so easy to follow and prepping the fabric couldn't have been simpler. I look forward to one day making this petticoat again with a nice scalloped eyelet. I made it in white muslin. I have used it for historic gowns and to fluff up my wedding gown.

This was a beautiful pattern, and very helpful! I used it for one of two petticoats I wore for my wedding (a very cold October day) and was comfortable the whole time! The only thing I will say is if you are going to use it with the elliptical hoop skirt, you will need to add length to the back of the petticoat. We achieved this by adding a yoke under the waistband, which made for less bulk at the waist anyway! If someone is used to reading any sort of 2-D plans (map, house layouts, sewing patterns, etc) you can do this!

The pattern for this petticoat was awful and hard to understand, and I even had an experienced person with me trying to understand the instructions of this pattern. Needs to be redone and clarified more specifically. I ended up salvaging my fabric and made a gorgeous petticoat even though the pattern details was bad.
