Finished my 1905 Plain blouse & Circular skirt

Postby Val » Mon Jul 09, 2012 2:23 pm

I can't tell you how happy I am with this pattern, the ease to make it, and the final look I got. If I didn't have a few other things to finish, I'd be starting on my next one. :D
I'll be wearing this to Costume College in August at the Sunday Fantasy Tea, and will be planning my next version afterwards.
BTW, the mirror I took my photo in is tilted back so I look taller, and of course a little skinnier but the dress is VERY flattering. I made the pink silk taffeta belt from another pattern I had and tacked a wide lace around the collar.

Thank you Cindy. I forgot to mention, this is a cotton voile I purchased in the Garment District of Los Angeles a few years ago, for $3.99yd. Its just been waiting for the right dress. I wrote about making it in my blog.
