What patterns should I use to make this?

Have an idea but you just need someone else to agree (or disagree) be fore you go ahead as planned? Here is the place for feedback.

What patterns should I use to make this?

Postby majors » Thu Mar 16, 2017 1:53 pm

Good Afternoon,

I have been in love with this gown for a long time and now have the time to make it. What patterns do you recommend? The flat front of the skirt makes me this Belle Epoque, but the high waist makes me think Edwardian. Any help would be appreciated!

This is very Edwardian, Most likely 1908-9ish. I would use the TVE23-Ten Gore Skirt. Might have to raise the waistline a bit, but that should be super simple. Then you need a blouse and the jacket. I would use the TV498 - 1898 Eton Jacket, and change the sleeve to something else.
