First corset and chemise finished!

Postby Maja » Tue Oct 07, 2014 1:59 am

So, here is my first set of compleated chemise and corset. I think they look pretty beautiful together, though I think thhe corset went a little short at the top and too small at the bust. Well, lesson learned for next time. :)

This is lovely, you did a wonderful job and the fabric is just delightful! I think your assessment is good; but I think making the next corset about 3/4 of inch taller at the top (I'd just extend the lines of the pattern pieces), you probably won't need to go up a size in the bust......Great Work! :o

I don't think it needs to go higher, but I would add just a hair of flare to the bust seams. You probably don't even need to go to a different pattern size.

I have to go with the add 3/4" to the top edge. No other changes, I think.

Very pretty, love the fabric!!
