Royal Purple Shabby Chic Gown

Postby Sabrina Fair » Thu May 17, 2012 6:29 pm

This is a gown I finished today.

Under the hood is the Grand Bustle TV108.

The skirt is the 1885 Four-Gore Underskirt with ruffles of black opaque fabric and plum tulle down the length.

The overskirt is the 1872 Side Drape Overskirt with the 1873 Polonaise pouf added to the back.

The bodice is the 1885 Cuirass Bodice TV460 with the sleeves left off and the buttons omitted for a corset-styled back lace-up.

That is a sweet bit of design! I especially like the tulle-accented ruffles.

WOW! That is awesome! I love the rosettes on the bodice. Did you make those? Can you tell me how to?

Thanks! The roses come either as a yoke or you can buy them in yardage and cut to the size you want.
