I made my gown using the Parisian Trained Skirt over my Grand Bustle (minus the bottom hoops), and a cross between the Polonaise and 1870's Ball Gown Bodice. The hat was one of the ones Heather used to sell, which I have been saving up for a special occassion!
My man made his own outfit too - Frock Coat scaled up from "The Evolution of Fashion", Waistcoat modified from Laughing Moon, Shirt from Butterick and Top Hat of own design!
The bridesmaids (who nearly upstaged me, they looked soo gorgeous), were wearing the Laughing Moon Skirt with the Truly Victorian Corsolet (my favourite pattern ever!), white blouses and crocheted gloves.
As you can see, we had a terrific day. The horses and carriage were dreamy, and caused a huge sensation in Uxbridge High Street! We can't wait to get the official photos back, but in the meantime, enjoy:
