New Group: Ohio Historical Costumers

Postby Corsetière » Sun Feb 22, 2015 6:27 pm

Hello!

I just wanted to let the community know that we have a new group called Ohio Historical Costumers. If there are any Ohio folks here, please feel free to join us! We are in the process of organizing our first major event for next year. It is going to be a ball - no really, an actual ball with dancing. We're aiming for the 1890's but we'd certainly welcome all Victorian costuming.

Anyways, as more info becomes available re: the event, it will filter out here:

Come join us if you live in Ohio, or if you are willing to travel to come join the merriment!

I'm moving to Michigan in a month so I will be happy to come out to some events. Though I admit I am much more interested in the 1860s-80s.

We'll definitely be trying to hit all times periods eventually with future events. Plus, no one will stone you if you show up to our ball in a 1880's gown. ;) Rather we will applaud your efforts!

I'm excited for the ball and to meet new people since I only know 1 person in Michigan.
