Harper's Bazaar Online

Postby kellydofc » Sat Sep 22, 2012 1:34 pm

I found copies of Harper's Bazaar from 1867 - 1900 online at this site http://hearth.library.cornell.edu/h/hearth/browse/title/4732809.html.

I was so excited I had to share with all of you! I haven't gotten through all of the volumes yet but am slowly making my way through them.

Ah you need to look at some the old posts here. It is a good site worth rementioning. They have other periodicals from the Victorian era. The way I've found them is through the library of congress (loc.gov). Search for Harper's monthly for example (it has pictures of current fashions starting in 1850 in the back). The loc also has a lot of victorian era newspapers here: http://www.loc.gov/topics/content.php?cat=5

Ah here's the gateway to the periodicals:

(I need to organize my favorites better)
