1888 Red and Black Gown

Postby DuchessArgylle » Wed Sep 30, 2015 6:44 pm

I made this outfit a little while, I just hadn't posted pictures. I have to say, I *love* this ensemble...it is so much fun to wear!

To make it, I used TV 163 Imperial Tournure TV 263 Imperial skirt (the petticoat is the street length version of this pattern, but in black taffeta), TV 382 Asymetrical drapery (in a beautiful net with beading all over it), the bodice is a marriage of TV 422 Dinner bodice and the back of TV 463 French vest bodice. The hat is TV 550 and I'm wearing the Truly Victorian corset as well.
