Finished my Metropolitan Museum piece

I wanted to share my take on my Metropolitan Museum piece. Here's my completed outfit and the original extant image.

I didn't have enough of the satin fabric (the plain color of the bodice is taken from the center of the embroidered fabric) to fill the center pleat area. The pic was taken without the proper petticoat.

I wish I had the small waist of the original. It looks better!

Lovely style and cut, the emroidered vertical strips really make the skirt stand out. super job.
