Very nice, I like the buttonholes! Are they by machine or by hand? I never feel confident enough to attempt contrast buttonholes with my machine.

Cute dress! I love what you did with the train! How did you loop it up? Did you use tapes that were on the back side or something else?

Miss Mary, I made the button holes with my machine. :) I do prefer the handmade, but I don't like how slow I am at sewing them, so I use my machine.
Miss Andrea, I made the loop from strong thread above the bow. I believe I have one picture that is a little closer and you can see the loop I made. Image
And there is one button on the back that matches the buttons on the bodice.

Wow. That is one beautifully done engineering job. I'm so intimidated by trains I don't even think about using them. Yours is wonderful.
