Neo-Victorian Jacket Finished!

Postby Lbannister » Mon Oct 17, 2011 3:01 pm

Hi Heather and the truly Victorian Community!

I"ve just finished a jacket based on the TV 405 pattern. I've made a few modifications, new collar, I lowered the front of the bodice to make it a bit sexier, added a side zipper on the front panel, and left the sleeve cuffs off completey.
Lastly, I added brass detailing around for a more....neo-victorian/ modern San Franciscan look :) I'll be wearing this all Winter!

Thank you for the inspiration and initial support when I was trying to fit the pattern!

all the best,

Lacey

I love it! What is the fabric? It's stunning. The brass details are the perfect touch!

Hi Beth,

Its a Brocade I picked up in Berkeley. A place called "discount fabrics". Turned out more beautiful than I expected actually. I'm so happy with it!
