TV101 bustle and 216 1875 Parisian trained skirt

Turned out SO nice! I had concerns about the bustle flattening out with the weight of the ruffle panel, which, as you can see, turned out to be unfounded! Mannequins don't have much in the butt department I suppose.

That is beautiful! Almost inspires me to make a bustle. I am getting closer and closer. Thank you for sharing. Your skirt is lovely, too! I really like the look.

You did a wonderful job on the petticoat and skirt. Love the skirt color, too. How is the bodice coming along? I would love to see a picture of the finished ensemble.

I plan to start making TV101 soon. I noticed on yours you added trim to the ruffles. I was planning to do that too. How did you finish the seams? I was thinking of trimming the seams down and whipstiching them, but I believe there is 14 yards of ruffles. That's a lot of whipstiching. :roll:
