1848.51 Bonnet

Postby Cathi H » Sun Jun 06, 2010 8:54 am

Another hat for this summer.
I modified (for me) my daughter’s 1848 ensemble and made a new bonnet. As I am a mature lady I make it as simple as possible  .

Oh my, Cathi, all of your bonnets and dresses are beautiful! I loved the red dress with the matching shoes. And how did you do your hair? So very nice.

Thank you Katharine,

I worked very hard on the shoes and the shoe repairer ruined them by making an ugly sole which was too wide and too thick. I was very disappointed. Fortunately the dresses are long.

For my hair I only use rollers and a false braid that I add to my hair which is quite long.
