My outfits from Steampunk World's Fair

Postby gretagretchen » Fri May 21, 2010 12:17 am

Here are my outfits from the Steampunk's World Fair. I had originally planned on and additional bustle dress but I ran out of time. As it was I was sewing up until and hour before the ball. Only one outfit is exclusively patterns from Truly Victorian. That was my ballgown outfit. I use the 1892 Ballgown bodice and the Bell Skirt. I'm also wearing the Belle Epoch Petticoat and TV 110 corset. And I made the fascinator. Someone called me the Absinthe Fairy so I'm going with that. Can't see the fabric very well but is very green like absinthe:

Here I made the jacket, bloomers and fascinator:

And here I made the outfit, including the pvc gaiters. Bought the top hat. And I'm still wearing my TV 110. I love that corset. Time to make another!
