A year’s work for the llandrindod Wells Festival

Postby Cathi H » Sun Oct 11, 2009 3:14 am

At last! I have finally been able to wear my year’s work. I don’t work very fast but, being retired, I take my time.
Of course, I wanted to post photos of Llandrindod but… they are all blurred (or almost all).
I think I’m one of those people that the camera ‘doesn’t like’. What’s more I forgot to take photos of two outfits!
I’ll have to take some more, if only by way of thanking Heather, as all my outfits were, of course, Truly Victorian!
I worked on the following patterns:
TV101 for the Bustle.
TV 170 for the petticoat.
TV261, 294 & 298 for the skirts.
TV498, 496, 463 & 416 for the bodices (I sometimes mixed backs, fronts and sleeves from different patterns).
The overskirts were ‘made up’.
By combining different skirts and bodices I had several outfits.

All your work was well worth it. You made some lovely dresses! Please post pics of the 2 other dresses when you can -I can't wait to see them!

You made a lovely wardrobe. I especially like the brown polka dot one, and the white outfit. Very very nice!
