I have a new gown!

Postby Dale » Fri Sep 04, 2009 9:53 pm

The gown is white voile and the blue is embroidered. The border on the underskirt is from the medallion and there was just enough space between them to cut seperate medallions out and stick them in (by hand I might add!). I want to change the neckline a bit. I made mistakes, but the overall look isn't bad. I'll take some pics of the side and back and some closeups soon. I'll also take pics of the necklast and earrings as I also made them.

Thank you both. There are things I wish I had done differently, but I think overall it was ok. I had someone (well several someone's) step on my gown, and the last one caused the waistband to tear through completely. Luckily it was only muslin - I'm so glad the voile didn't tear!!
