Costume College '08

Postby ginnymorgan » Thu Aug 07, 2008 9:12 am

Well, last weekend was Costume College here in California...again, a great weekend...lots of good classes and a fun time.

I saw our own Heather and Laura,Lady Fleur and a lot of our other online friends...all having a great time.

There are changes taking place as far as next years entry to CC...There were no advance CC memberships sold at college, there will be a new method, that hopefully will be more fair and equitable to all. I am sure that it will be explained fully on the website. I will post more as it is all ironed out.

The highlight of the weekend, for me, was meeting Joan Severa, who wrote the book, "Dressed for the Photographer", and taking two of her classes. What a wonderful and interesting Lady. If you can find this book, it is just a wonderful resource and a pleasure to read.

Those two classes were delightful!

btw, next years theme is 18th Century. Not my cup of tea, however, there are always wonderful classes suitable for any period.

My only regret is not signing up for more classes this year :)
