I'm skillfull with my sewing machine, but not wiht a pencil. Does that make sense?

Yes you do make sense. But I think that there's no such thing as no skill at all! You would shudder at my first drawings and even the first two YEARS of drawings I made of dresses and the ladies in them. But after 4 years of practicing, it gets better. Anybody can draw if they practice enough! Can you draw a stick figure? Bravo! You drew!

I can draw, in fact I have drawn since an early age, and just realised recently I was designing costumes for most of my childhood;) It was basically fan art but recreating wardrobes and characters ;)

I have most of my art on my ISP provided site:

And often sketch my costumes before making them: ... 81282.html (I am finally working on the pink one, but it's actually in white. I may still make a pink one, but the fabric may be used for something else..

And often do quick sketches to put together ideas for possible costumes: ... 52794.html
Work on the costume.

There are nearly always changes to be made.
