Reproducing Jessica Biel's blouse and skirt from "The Illusionist "

Postby jewels » Fri Apr 14, 2017 12:22 pm

Hi Heather,

I would like to reproduce the skirt and gorgeous cream lace blouse that Jessica Biel wears in her first scene. The film is set in 1900 so I think the trumpet skirt would work but not sure for the blouse. It's got three quarter lace sleeves ending in a band, a square neckline with a mesh lace insert ending with a round lace collar and what looks like lace panels over the shoulders and front. It also looks like it ends at the waist with a cummerbund. Any suggestions on an appropriate pattern would be so appreciated.
Thanks so much,
Julie
