problem with hem stiffening on Bell Skirt
I used single ply buckram as the hem stiffener in my bell skirt. I have done this before on a previous Bell Skirt and it worked great. But, the buckram I used this time is quite a bit stiffer. I need to loosen it up a bit. Any ideas how?

I would think that you could just work it and break it in a bit. Roll it up and smash it, then roll it up the other way and smash it again. Then iron it all flat again. That should break the bonding up a bit.

I did go ahead and get wet. Helped a lot. Not perfect but better.
