Lining question

Postby Quallus » Mon Jul 13, 2015 9:15 am

This might be a stupid question but I will ask anyway.
My overskirt is a sheer floral print. The under skirt is a natural color. The bodice will be made from the sheer but lined . Not sure if it would be better to line the bodice with the same natural color as the under skirt (have plenty of that fabric) or if it could be lined with a white fabric.
Probably won't matter either way but was curious what you would do?
Thanks. :D

I usually line it with the same color as the underskirt. Then I don't have to worry about the change in color as much. But I am sure the difference between white and off white is not that much, so I doubt it will make a difference.

Thanks Heather. I checked by sunlight and there is a subtle difference and I would imagine that it is far easier to stick with the same color then not.
Just wanted to check before I cut the fabric.
Thank you again.
