So for the 1860s gown I'm making I am planning on using taffeta as the fabric using the TV240 skirt.
Now I want to make sure there's a lot of rustling with this gown, but am wondering if just using taffeta with the TV240 skirt is enough, or if I should make a petticoat with a cotton base and taffeta ruffles? Or would a cotton petticoat still have enough rustling if all the taffeta was just in the TV240 skirt?
Undies, everyone has to wear them.
