Not certain if this blouse is designed with slightly dropped shoulders, similar to CW era, or the sleeve should pivot at the shoulder line?
Wondering also when the dropped shoulders of CW gave way?

The shoulder should be just about 1/2" longer than the point of shoulder, but not the long drop like the CW period.
The shoulder line goes up pretty close on the heels of the end of the war. By 1867 or so, it is pretty much at the just below point of shoulder, where it stays until about 1880.
