Postby Magpiee » Sun Aug 20, 2017 11:15 am

I think i did count something wrong..
Can someone help me?

You need to start out with the circumference of the hoop, rather than the diameter. If the 47" diameter is correct, that would be 150" circumference. (diameter x pi). If this is not correct, try measuring the length of the bottom hoop, and use that number instead. Be sure to mark your starting point, so you know where to end measuring.

150" x 2 + 20 = 320" or just about 8 7/8 yards of fabric total needed to start (320 / 36 = 8.88). The bottom ruffle will be the full 8 7/8 yards, and the top and under layer will be half of that, or 4 1/2 ish yards.

Does this help?
