Truly Victorian is offering a workshop focused on the new Edwardian Corset pattern TVE01, taught by Heather McNaughton. We will be constructing a corset in class. Space is limited to 15 students so sign up now to reserve your space!

Date: August 28, 2011
Time: 10am to 4pm
Place: Home of Corinne Pleger in Los Angeles, CA
Cost: $40 for the workshop, plus a field trip to Richard the Thread to purchase busk and bones. (approx $70 total cost)
Students need to bring: 1 yard of corset fabric (coutil, twill, canvas, drill,etc. May also bring 1 yard of decorative fabric for top layer), matching wide double fold bias tape for edging, sewing machine with zipper foot, sewing kit (pins, scissors, pins, thread, etc.)
Teacher will provide: Corset pattern, bone casing in white or black, grommets and grommet setter, corset lacing, expert instruction and tidbits of wisdom.

Heather, what about a teaching dvd? You could burn a copy for anyone that wants to buy the information. You can't be everywhere, but a lot of us would appreciate the info you share in a workshop. Just a thought!!
