I'm ok 'either way'...will be driving from San Fernando valley or overnight in a local hotel.

Preference would be a one weekend event.

I'm very interested in attending a weekend class (1 or 2 days).

As an abundant woman (RTW 26) will I be able to make a Victorian corset that fits? Oh I sure hope so :)

Trim....for your wonderful dress? I'd need to know what type of headdress/veil, jewelry you will wear, and what type of flowers/bouquet style you will carry. For inspiration... For trim, I'm exceedingly biased and do not like clear sequins on wedding dresses...but adore pearl trim, lace, woven trims...

Very nice indeed!

On my computer...the colors come out Cambridge Blue and Brown.

At the Textile Expo I recall a silk stripe in those colors (with ivory) and it was calling my name...

Plaid is even better!

Jump out of car...put on skirt (trying to use the doors for a bit of privacy. ...

Just noted this photo tonight. Peach and ivory together--wonderful choice, beautiful work.. Are you still taking a brek or did you finish the trim? FWIW About 2 yrs ago I bought peach and brown bengaline (http://www.fabric.com). thought it would look good with ivory trim. Now I'm inspired...must hun...

No difference seen here either! Lovely!

Don't mention a word...or worry about it. Even the same fabric dye lot might look different because of bias cut, seaming, lighting.

For really fine machine needle tucks, the tucking foot and a Double Needle work well. My most modern machine is about 1971 model, and it works well with the double needles (it is a zigzag machine). Some of the Doubles have 'winged" or spear shaped tips, and can form beautiful designs that resemble h...
