Altering a corset-need guidance please.

In the past few months, I've lost a significant amount of weight :) and now my corset edges meet at the back. I've searched the TV site about making alterations, best solution seems to be adding tucks. Would like to have this corset last through the November re-enactment season. if possible. Last ev...

Heather, I was doubly delighted to meet you at Riley's Farm Fair, and to learn this corset will be available in Plus Sizes :) Because I have the same waist measurement as Queen Victoria at her abundant matronly size  this was very good news indeed. Bust size about the same also. With your wond...

The sample photo is gorgeous and looks comfortable.

Please, please carry the pattern in the Plus Sizes--for a size 26/28 lady...there are a lot of abundant women who reenact.

Although I admit...I wear my corset sometimes under regular clothing. Strapless comfort :)

Thanks,

This is a really wonderful dress! The skirt trim is especially pleasing and the cording sets it off so well. How does the brown fabric feel "on"? Comfy, I hope? I have a fancy to order some of the brown fabric to cover a hat...thinking ahead for fall, with pheasant feathers. Hat and lined capelet? G...

Love them both...

What keeps the cape collar 'up'? The fabric alone or boning, support from interfacing of some kind?

I want this cape. NOW. Might be a bit pushy to wear to work over my scrubs, but i'd be tempted :D

Thanks for the update :) After talking to their rep last year at length about L.A. locations, all I can say is Argh, what a weird choice. At least they will have free parking, a bonus in that part of town. Not as 'freeway close' as I would have liked, due to the congestion, but at least it is west c...

My dress form lives in the front room/living room of our tiny house. Generally she is dressed up, with a styrofoam head covered in fabric, wearing a hat and wig. For use, having the proper undies can make a great deal of difference. Thanks for Dru for the stuffing with sox idea for my new Dore corse...

My dear, Like many others, I have been following your interest with the Phantom in particular and costuming in general.

Don't fret about your coloring, the roles will come.

I think I speak for all of us about your experience at the theatre:

This is a wonderful use of Asian traditional fabric with western design. DH is from Japan...he even commented "Looks good"...which is high praise from him, honest! Hmm My Inner Designer is telling me to look for rust brocade with kiku (chrysthanthemum) pattern for a natural form dress. Your work is ...
