Sure! The first photo is what a quarter of a pound looks like. Having gone deaf from the resounding silence, I decided to go ahead and order a quarter pound of "Victorian mix" buttons. They are delightful! Not, perhaps, quite period correct, if one is a stickler for such things. But delightful, and useful, at a good price, and with fast shipping.

Has anyone on this list done business with Buttons4U.com? They are offering what they refer to as a "Victorian mix" of metal buttons... by the pound! It almost sounds too good to be true, so in the spirit of "caveat emptor", I thought I'd ask....

The corset cover that is included in the Laughing Moon petticoat and bustle pattern is quite nice. I made mine up in white muslin with pearl buttons, mostly to keep a black corset from showing through a white shirtwaist.

Ah! The answer is even sillier. I pulled apart the muslin and checked it against the pattern pieces, and it had inexplicably "grown" half an inch or so along the shoulder line. :oops: Thanks for the quick reply! Back to the drawing board for me....
