Perfection! I think that is your prettiest creation yet.

What type of necklace are you wearing? It's difficult to see at such a distance, it suits the gown so well.

You know, I never would have thought to use so much stripe, but the bib sets it off with just the right amount of zen that it carries it perfectly. It's gorgeous!

Re: I am starting a dress diary!

We did how-to's at the airbrush forum I belonged to, it was very helpful to beginners especially, but I always found some new trick someone had used and incorporated it into my retinue. Your Dress diary is genius, and will be a huge help to those such as myself who are on their first sewing adventur...

I'm so glad you are doing this Heather! I was always a little disappointed that each pattern had only one example of what it could look like-I'm very visual.

I hope to have some things done but the won't be finished until spring at the earliest :( I hope to become more involved here soon.

Hi Heather, thanks for the speedy response! The last time I went back on the meds I lost 30lbs a month. (It's hormones and thyroid, so most of my weight is water and trunk weight.) I used to be evenly fat, but now I look like a punkin, so a corset will definitely need to be remade. I'm relieved to k...

Quandary about wedding outfit.

Hello! I'm needing some advice. I've gone up about 8 dress sizes in the past year because I've had a doctor mess with my medications. I'm currently looking for another doctor so I can get my medicine rectified and lose the weight. Here's the rub: I'm getting married in June and making my own dress. ...

Dear Miss Cindy, Thank you for replying! You've helped me immensely, and having all sizes on her patterns has made my decision so much easier. I am thinking about ordering the original skirt I wanted (TV 216) for future use and when I've got some experience under my belt. Thank you also for your inp...

A brief intro and request for opinions/help.

Hi all! I'm a new member, but have been dreaming of making my own Victorian/Edwardian clothes for many moons. I've dabbled in sewing though it's been a long time since I've sewn anything. When I stumbled upon this site I realized that corked it, I'm getting back into it. I use to go to Riverside for...
