Sigh you are probably right. I'm not sure what I was thinking either. But thank you for the advice.

1892 Ball Gown Bodice...

Ok, so I am trying to make a suitable bodice for an 1883 Bustle Ball gown... I didn't care for the 1885 Cuirass Bodice so I ordered the 1892 ball gown bodice and I am going to adjust the back neck line of the 1884 French Vest Bodice... I had already asked Heather about my measurements and proceed on...

Re: Question about bodice fitting....

Ok, I think I get what you are saying...

So if I went up to a 16" back width an "I" I'd then have to cut for the front vest and collar an L or M... would that work better?

Question about bodices...

I'm trying to get things in order for our event on Dec 7th which is an out door event in the Late Bustle Era. I have a skirt (from of course the TV Pattern) and adore how it has come out. However, I was leaning towards making a coat from TV560, (The black and white deceptions, upper left corner). I ...

Re: TV110 Sizing Question...

Well here it is... this is technically my mock up. But since time is of the essence it will actually be my functional corset for an event on the 1st. I am truly pleased and last years bodice that I made actually fits better with this corset than the Laughing moon corset I originally made. Oh and tak...

Thanks Heather! Now I have an idea of what to make it out of. :D

Eventually will you be selling bones for this bustle like the other one?

The New TV163

Heather,

I'm so excited about your new pattern, TV 163, the 1887 Imperial Tournure. I was just wondering what fabric you would recommend making it out of. I have read through all the instructions and there is no mention of fabric. :D

Thanks. Eliza

Re: TV110 Sizing Question...

Just a small update: I have started my "mock up" which has come out fantastic so far. I just need to order the proper length of boning and it will be done. I also ordered my skirt pattern and the new bustle pattern. :D When I get it all done I will take pictures of all the components. :D

TV110 Sizing Question...

I was surprised recently with the TV110 corset pattern. I have been wanting a new corset for awhile as I do a lot of 1880s reenacting. I admit I drool massively over all the TV patterns, but for some reason the sizing ALWAYS does me in. The first corset I'm making is for a friend her measurements ar...
