That is the biggest hunk of nonsense I've ever heard!!! If you can make the dresses and costumes of the victorian era, You CAN make a bonnet! 1. her hair is not bobbed, but put up in a head band like this

We jsut have an old wood one from 1980 (oh brother) and I know that old ones can't be very good for practicing pieces well, but I just want one that's upright and has ivory keys! (I have a friend that does, so i go borrow hers! :wink: )

I realy do think they go together! I can dresses really well and though I haven't drafted BIG projects, I can usually draft things like bonnets and dress acessories with ease.

In the 1700s, I've seen things labled corsets and stays. Are they the same thing? If they're different, how so?

There was a thread about that somwhere.. can't find it. From what I know, it depends. Most wore two or three, but you can wear as many/few as you wish. Somtimes one under the hoop or bustle, another to go over it.
