101, 216 and 405 finished outfit!

Patterns are TV101 bustle petticoat TV216 1875 Parisian Trained skirt (as pattern except I added detail on the side panels) TV405 1972 Vest Basque (modified to lower neckline, changed collar, omitted cuffs, pointed center front) Turned out amazing. TV101 bustle and 216 1875 Parisian trained skirt

Turned out SO nice! I had concerns about the bustle flattening out with the weight of the ruffle panel, which, as you can see, turned out to be unfounded! I second the sock dreams recommendation. If you can't find what you want in tights, their over the knee socks are also great, and if you're not in the mood for garters they have "sock glue" that honest to goodness will hold up over the knee socks. I will say that not all OTKs are good for ...

Thanks for the reply! My natural hips are 40, so I made the L bustle. I did try the tapes a little tighter and it made a big difference. I pinned the waistband in too, it has an inch or two excess somehow and that perked things up a tad more. I also shoved yardstick in back of the dressform where le...
