Original patterns look like the front darts extend all the way to the hem edge, is this correct? Any advice woul...

Re: Victorian/Historical fiction recommendations/reviews

Have you evert tried Catherine Cookson or Victoria Holt? Neither are steam punk at all. Both are fiction usually set in Victorian times though I've seen French Revolution to WWI. Re: Gathered Dress 456

Heather you are so awesome for such as quick reply!! I'll do a better job pinning the front, take in the darts and it's ok to take the side seams in a bit - that's great to know because I always thought I was just suppossed to adjust the darts. Gathered Dress 456

Help I feel like I have no idea how to fit myself anymore! I've lost weight and my mockup seems huge. I had my husband measure me and I don't know how confident I am in his measurements. Back 14.5 size F, bust 37.75 size E. The upper back seems to fit smoothly but the waist part of the back has inch...

The fit of both of your dresses is very nice! Really like that cream one, there's something so elegant about the monotone color. Keep doing the ruffle it looks great!
